I'm Mason (Mace), an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and Practitioner in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and a Masters of Sports Medicine. I'm also a Practitioner in Hand Therapy and a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Since graduating in 2015, I've worked across both sports and pelvic health, and since 2020 I've focused increasingly on pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction in both men and women. On the sports side, I've spent years working with rugby league players at local and regional levels, as well as powerlifters and strongman athletes — a natural fit given my hometown of Maitland's strong powerlifting and strongman culture.
I love working with people from all walks of life, but I have a particular passion for supporting the LGBTQIA+ community; athletes of every level, from weekend warriors to high performers, particularly those dealing with hip or pelvic pain or returning to sport after pregnancy or surgery; and people with pelvic pain or sexual dysfunction who've been told by GPs or specialists that nothing more can be done.
My approach starts with understanding what actually matters to you: what's being impacted, what you're working toward, and what makes you tick. I treat people, not conditions — my job is to help you get back to the things that matter, not just make and manage a diagnosis.
I've completed further training in prostatectomy rehabilitation, male pelvic floor and pelvic pain, post-pregnancy rehabilitation, and pelvic pain in athletes, and I'm currently working toward additional Titling as a Women's, Men's, and Pelvic Health (WMPH) Physiotherapist, to be dual titled alongside Sports and Exercise. I hold AHPRA and APA membership, associate membership with the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA), and I'm a Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (MACP).
Pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction are still hugely under-recognised and under-referred, and delayed diagnosis can take a real toll on quality of life. I don't want anyone to suffer in silence, so my goal is for every patient to feel they can speak openly and confidently about what they're experiencing, and to have full confidence in the plan we build together toward their goals.
Outside the clinic, you'll usually find me at the gym doing bodybuilding-style training, or walking my Bull Terrier, Shark, along the Northern Beaches.

Pelvic floor, receptive anal intercourse, anorectal pain — they're the technical terms, but if you're having pain with urinating, orgasm, bottoming / pegging, or generally feel not quite right downstairs, then that's what it means to you.
This kind of physiotherapy is for everyone from all walks of life — no stereotypes, no barriers, no exceptions and no judgement.
Everything we do is guided by the latest and most robust literature available — practical, active, all for your benefit, and nothing too left of field.
